Place has successfully recruited two Vice Principals for The
Co-operative Academy of Manchester - Sarah Walsh and Gillian Houghton. Sarah was previously a head of 6th Form at Manchester Academy and will be responsible for Standards, Extended Schools and Community. Gillian was previously a Deputy Head Teacher and will be responsible for Learning and Development. Both will start their new roles in September 2009 and will support the Principal in the leadership of the Academy, to ensure continued improvement, success and high standards for all students.
